Overview
About Me
Open minded, laid back, very easy going. I always look on the bright side and take everything into perspective.
I'm generally up for anything and love spontaneity. I'm very easily entertained, and am fascinated by this world and its inhabitants.
I'm a very active person. Played rugby for 10 years, currently play hurling and gaelic football and I practice yoga and martial arts. Love water in most of its forms (puddles/streams/ponds/rivers/lakes/waterfalls/seas/oceans) but not so much when its ice or snow. I don't smoke and am not big into drugs, but do enjoy the occasional drink (craft beer, single malt scotch, gin, sometimes wine).
I'm always up for an intelligent conversation, or even a ridiculous one. I'm very much looking forward to meeting loads of interesting people during my travels over the next few years, and hosting whenever I can as well!

Music, Movies, and Books
I'll watch/listen/read almost anything.
My favorite book is probably A People's History of the United States by Howard Zinn.
My favorite band is Matt and Kim.
My favorite movie is Forgetting Sarah Marshall if I want to laugh or Love Actually if I want to cry.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I'm not sure that anything I've done is particularly amazing. I played rugby in Wales, that's one of my favorite memories. Backpacked through Western Europe. And I wrote a novel.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to learn everything.
I'm happy to teach anything that I know.
I'm happy to share anything that I have.
