ABOUT ME

Most of my friends would describe me as someone who is easy to get along with and down for most anything. I have an adventurous, yet sensible, personality that I feel is a healthy balance. My FAITH comes first in my life, followed by my family and friends who I would gladly die for if need be. Humility and respect are characteristics that can take you far in life, and I'm drawn to the people who exhibit them. Helping and giving to others brings me immense happiness and a self-worth that can't be gained by doing anything else. I'm passionate about many things, and that includes meeting other human beings who don't always think the way I think or believe in everything I do. I try to recognize opportunity in every situation and the chances to learn and grow as an individual.

PHILOSOPHY

I attempt everyday to be non-judgmental, accepting, loving, understanding, patient and humble. Life is short and shouldn't be wasted on hate and conflict.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am relatively new to CouchSurfing, but I am eager to experience all that it has to offer. I'm currently remodeling my house that I just purchased, so sadly I can't host anyone yet. I am looking forward to hosting very soon, but I am able to meet for a drink or a bite to eat. I love showing people a good time and all that my state and town has to offer.

Interests

I am interested in beautiful, fast cars, real estate, public relations, traveling, fishing and camping, riding bikes, singing, pop culture, the music industry, entrepreneurship, non-profits, good beer and wine, sleeping in on Saturdays, landscaping, photography, unique art, trying different foods, biscuits and chocolate gravy, baseball, hiking, cooking, meeting new people, antique cars and furniture, comic books, golden retrievers, etc...

Music - (Johnny Cash, Garth Brooks, Queen, The Eagles, Journey, Steven Curtis Chapman, Bebo Norman, Better Than Ezra, Faith Hill, Gary Allan, Phil Wickham, Robin Thicke, Sheryl Crow, Lil Wayne, Tom Petty, Daddy Yankee and too many others to list.) I can appreciate all kinds of music.

Books - (The Holy Bible, Harry Potter Series, Tuesday's With Morrie, real estate investing books, car magazines and any "Dummies" book over topics that I'm currently interested in.)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing, life-changing experience that I have had was when I was given the opportunity to spend 4 weeks in South Africa working in an AIDS/HIV orphanage. The children were beautiful and full of life. They taught me so much in such a short time and I hope to return someday soon.
