ABOUT ME

I'm an experience seeking, intellectually curious, oft nerdy guy, seeking to learn a much as I can in the time that I have. i travel with my wife Elsa, we love getting off the beaten path, hiking, fishing, sailing, and laughing. We’re friendly and goofy and like making new friends. What better way to learn about others than living in their shoes (and in their homes) when abroad, and hosting them in my own town.

PHILOSOPHY

I love to learn stories of others and internalize foreign cultures as much as I can. Take in as much as I can, and share it through story, song, and times well spent.

I've been hosted by many amazing travelers across the sea, and look forward to more. I'd like to host international travelers, learn about their culture, cuisine and song, while sharing what I love about the area I live in.

Surfed in Europe and N. Africa and had amazing times. I'd like to give others the same memorable expirences in the place I live and love.

Interests

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm happy to teach what I know of Piano, Accordion, Guitar, and the countless american (and Polka) songs I know. If you visit me during the warmer times, I can teach you a bit about sailing or fishing. I'm happy to share my skills and make a short film together.

I'd like to learn music of different cultures as well as to cook their cuisine. If you fish, i'd be interested in knowing some new techniques or attending a fishing trip with you.
