ABOUT US

We are from different backgrounds, Karla is from the biggest city in the world- Mexico City and I am from a small town in the north of Canada which makes us a perfect match in life since we love to travel and experiencing new things.

MATT- I used to be pretty shy of being out-of-the-box but have since left to Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Mexico, and more doing things like sky diving, bungy jumping, abseiling, hang gliding, scuba diving, and traveling with new found friends.I also work and play online in terms of running a blog and a few other websites and micro businesses.

KARLA- I always had the mindset on working in an office but after I met Matt, I could understand how living life now instead of later makes totally sense. I am so grateful for all what I have seen and experienced.

We would love to meet you on our travels, stay with you, or host you at some point in the near future (as soon as we are not nomads anymore)

PHILOSOPHY

We have given up on the common 9-5 work.
MATT- I now learn all I can about online entrepreneurship so I can deliver my passion of helping people find self-confidence and realize they can attain their dreams and goals.
KARLA- I am in search of my true passion so I can enjoy what I do everyday and make some money.

We love travel more than anything in the world. Besides Family and friends of course.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We would love to host other CS'ers when I can. Otherwise, I would truly love to stay with you while traveling or meet up for a beer or cappucino. I've inspired many people to join CS and love to see their expression when I tell them about the great community of couch surfing!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first couchsurfing experience was for a week in Boston. It was so amazing that I never looked back.Since then, my wife and I have stayed with people in Japan, Kelowna, Seattle, Portland, San Diego, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Salt Lake City, Las Vegas, and more.Awesome Awesome Awesome!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

MATT -Jumping off the bridge in Auckland with a bungy of course and skydiving for the 1st time.

KARLA- Quitting my job in Mexico and taking the chance to move to Canada to start a new life. Putting away all kind of fears and negative thoughts in search for a better way to live life. And here I am now, super happy!!

Scuba diving is one of our best experiences ever. You are just in a different world, surrounded by beautiful creatures and colours.
