About Me
CURRENT MISSION
"There has never been a sadness that can't be cured by breakfast food." -Ron Swanson
ABOUT ME
I'm educated professional with an immense interest in various forms of creative arts: writing, cooking (and eating), music tend to capture my attention most.
Although I can be a little reserved, I try to be open to new experiences, especially when traveling. I like to experience the little things—I'm more apt to spend time at the local coffee place or corner restaurant while traveling than I am to seek out the big "attractions."
PHILOSOPHY
Darn. My Ron Swanson quote above pretty much sums it up, so now I don't know what to put here. How about this:
"You can pretty much judge someone by how they speak to children and the waiter."
Interests
I have a huge interest in food and cooking, as I mentioned previously, and I spend some time trying to document those pursuits on my blog: www.warmhousecoldbeer.com
I love to read, and see live music, and watch my beloved Los Angeles Kings ice hockey team. I'm recently interested in endurance sports and just completed my second triathlon.
I like dry wit and playful sarcasm.
I'm still in search of a lot of things, and trying to learn how to make my life every meaningful.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Two years ago, I snorkeled with giant manta rays in Hawii.
Five years ago, I spent a month tagging endangered iguanas on small sanctuary islands off the main coast of Turks and Caicos in the Caribbean.
Teach, Learn, Share
I want to learn anything and everything relating to new cultures and the histories that gave birth to them.
I am willing to share anything I know, but I believe this single thing could make the entire world a better place: the keys to brewing a truly stellar cup of coffee.
