Overview
About Me
I'm an avid explorer, extrovert, carpe diem sort of guy. I like to get out as much as possible and that's why I'm completely addicted to travelling. I studied over in Malaysia and Italy and travelled around when I was there and also had a two month stint in the Americas which was an unbelievable experience. (I thought that would get the travel bug out of my system but it's bigger than ever!)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
For most of my travels I've stayed in hostels but recently I've had the privilege of being invited into people's homes overseas. And the entire experience is so different. You get to really understand the culture of the place you visit, because ultimately a destination is at least as much about the people you meet as the landscapes you see. So here I am!
For the next year I'm keen to explore some of our big Australian backyard and when I get the chance host as many people as possible!
I want to get to know as many different and exciting people as possible. To understand everyone's different journeys and their raison d'être. We all have something fascinating that we've done, that we're doing, that we want to do. What's your story?
Interests
I am interested in almost everything, especially the things I know little about and anything that will challenge me and make me expand my boundaries is my cup of tea!
Among other things I enjoy strumming away on my guitar, attempting to play futsal, shooting some hoops and drinking herbal teas.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm an avid fan of Hendrix's screechy solos, Will Ferrell's confused looks in all of his films and Joseph Heller's terse humour in Catch 22.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I really can't narrow this down to one so I'm going to list a few:
Skydived over the dusty plains of country Victoria
Stargazed in the dead of night on the Bolivian salt flats
Sludged through knee deep mud in the Amazon to stalk an anaconda
Gotten completely lost walking down from Waynu Picchu
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to teach people how to paint with their non-dominant hand, learn how to do handstands and share my drafts of a story I'm writing about my time in South America
What I Can Share with Hosts
My passion and enthusiasm for life!
But as well as that I can teach you how to paint, draw, write stories or short poems or play the guitar or drums. If you already know how to do all those things we can jam together. I am also moderately successful in the kitchen and keen to whip up a dish or two whenever I get the chance.
