Life is short! So I only do the things that light my soul on fire. Music, travel, cooking, and--by far the greatest--being with people, laughing and sharing.

I've been told many times that I come across as a life-long friend after only an evening of conversation. That touches my heart.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have run my own businesses since I was 15yo, so have been essentially "anchored" here in Canada since then. That means I have traveled very little.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

As a kid I was a total nerd, into lights and electronics, and building stuff. I was also convinced I could parlay this into a business. So, at 15 years-old, I started my first company. Grew it, actually quit university to focus on 100% on it, then bought out my competition, and here we are years later. It was hard and painful and wild and exciting and scary... and I've loved every moment of it.

Teach, Learn, Share

Things I can teach: wanna know how to roll sushi? Fix a toilet? Ride a dirtbike? Make a killer pork tenderloin? Play the drums? Change your oil? Feel good about yourself? I'm here for ya.

Things I want to learn? I really want to learn how to DJ and mix! Also I vow to one day learn how to wheelie. And learn the basics of law. How to day-trade.

Oh, and I will not DIE without trying something that might just be the scariest thing ever: open mic at a stand-up comedy club.
