Overview
About Me
I'm a currently a university student, studying a communications degree.
People have described me as a friendly, easy-going, approachable person. Though, I have a tendency to be a bit shy when you first meet me.
Thanks to my parents, I have been able to travel to over twenty different countries, at present; I still feel that there are many more places I need to explore.
I have a passion for languages, films, music and travel.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am on 'Couchsurfing,' because the community provides a incredible platform for travelers to explore and learn about the place they are visiting through a local's perspective.
When traveling, I always want to avoid common cliches and stereotype; I base my judgement of a places I've visited upon face value.

Music, Movies, and Books
I have a very eclectic music taste; if a song has a good melody and rhythm, I am all ears.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I worked for 8 weeks at a local NGO in Trujillo, Peru as a English teacher. The NGO, "Rasa Joven" is an organisation that establishes projects that focus on the health and well-being of children from disadvantaged communities.
After my time working at the NGO, I backpacked for 3 months from Peru to Colombia by myself, visiting places that before my journey in South America I would never have imagined visiting.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I classify myself as good story teller; thus, I have thousands of stories that I am happily to share with anyone. I will try to bring Tim-tams (Australian chocolate) to share with anyone willing to host me. I am not the best cook in the world; however, I am always keen on trying to recreate classic Australian dishes.
