About Me

Lover of travelling and exploring foreign places, people and cultures.
Scientifically and culturally minded. Believer of self-education and learning through experience rather than tuition and challenging myself

I don't believe in insuring myself against anything. I live life as it comes but try to explore the world and people by doing things for effect and shaping what comes. It's about being creative. Whether good or bad, it's the experience that matters most.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

See the world. Get to know it, the people who live on it and share my knowledge and experiences with people who cross my path.

Interests

"Far out" landscapes of the world.

The "underground" aspect of big cities.

Long journeys that challenge your resilience, stamina and provide you with those small moments that are etched in memory forever.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It's those small moments "on the road". Ofcourse, these are entirely subjective, but common, everyday aspects of travelling that everyone experiences.

The times when you can't find accommodation in a small village and someone offers you a place to stay for the night. They cook you a great meal, teach you some of their language and you don't stop smiling for the rest of the night.
The times when you're lost and don't know which bus to catch or where it could end up but buy the ticket and take the ride anyway. It ends up being the best decision you ever made (or the worst), but by the end, it doesn't matter.
The people you meet for a couple of hours, connect with incredible ease only to never hear or see them again.

What's amazing?? The way the mind holds on to these short, arguably irrelevant moments in your lifetime and places importance on them.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to view the world in geological terms, I can share my cooking skills and learn more about your culture and customs.
