About Me

CURRENT MISSION

See the world, one community at a time.

ABOUT ME

I LOVE BIKES! I have a love affair with bikes, and that is why I am riding around New Zealand. Put the fun between your legs!

I thrive on physical activity: rock climbing, cycling (BMX and touring), rugby, hiking, dancing... anything that makes me feel alive!

"Why so serious?!" I enjoy being the easy-going, jovial person that I am today. Not taking life too seriously has allowed me to live fairly stress-free, and focus on the positive aspects of life while taking the negatives in stride.

The earth is too large to live in one place for too long... I am living one day at a time, one country at a time.

Live your dream.

PHILOSOPHY

If you run through life, you might miss something.

"Minds are like parachutes. They only operate when open."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am always interested to hear your stories and share my own! Providing a safe and fun place to stay for fellow travelers is an amazing experience, and it goes perfectly with a life lesson I've learned: "It's not what you know, but who you know." While Surfing abroad, I hope to give back to the community as I travel by bringing my positive attitude everywhere.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Getting an email telling me that someone wants to surf my couch is a very exciting feeling because it means I will meet someone like-minded and someone to exchange stories with. My couch is your couch.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I realized that the fast-paced, predictable lifestyle that I was brought up into was not the only way to live my life, so I learned how to slow down and prioritize my goals. I have been very intrigued by traveling around the world and meeting the people, so I am currently on a mission to achieve that goal and travel the world. I am doing this because it is important to me, and because I enjoy human interaction.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you: yoga, bicycle maintenance, patience, mathematics, english, cooking, Rubik's Cube... ask me again later :)

I would like to learn from you: organic farming, Spanish, French, instruments, Maori culture, cooking, patience, whatever you can offer...

Countries I’ve Visited

Denmark, France, Germany, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom
