About Me

I'm from Portland, and I'm back living here after traveling/working/studying overseas for a few years. I live with my wife Caro and our dog Eneldo in SE Portland. Lots of fun stuff nearby- we're centrally located in the city so everything is pretty accessible. I'm often out of town for work, but if I'm here we can put you up in the spare room and hopefully fit you out with a bike to explore the city.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've had countless great experiences as a guest on Couchsurfing during the past few years, and have been waiting to get a place of my own to finally start hosting people.
So many unexpected experiences and friendships have come about from being a guest on CS, and now I hope to make this happen for travelers from the hosting end. Portland is a great city, especially if you have someone to show you around!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to make bread.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We have one floor of an old stone house that we share with a couple housemates. There's plenty of space for you to set up a bed (we can provide some sleeping materials). I also have a couple bikes, and you're welcome to use one if it fits you.
