Hey there / hallo / ahoj :) let me tell you briefly a couple of information about myself:

At the moment I work as German teacher at International school in Bratislava. I already knew by the time I was in primary school that I wanted to become a teacher, and that the German language is my passion.

I studied German as foreign language in Berlin and I spent 5 months in Perth, where I did my internship at the University of Western Australia, where I worked as a tutor for German language. I also studied teaching of German language and History at the Comenius University in Bratislava.

I love German, teaching, the international environment and being in contact with people from all four corners of the world, and our school as well as Couchsurfing give me the privilege of doing all of my passions. I’m interested in foreign languages as well as reading, discussing history and politics, travelling, and I’m also a big fan and proud owner of a VW Beetle.

I like plying some sports like volleyball, paddling, floorball and I really like to discuss about history, politics or about life while sitting in some cosy café. I love travelling and I can´t stay on one place long time. In the recent years I´ve visited many countries and towns in Europe (especially in Germany), USA, Australia and New Zealand.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The reason why I´am on Couchsurfing is because I think it´s great idea and opportunity to meet new interesting people as well as to help each other in the new places.

Interests

One of my biggest loves are languages.... and especially German language. I love this language, I tried to visit as many cities as possible during my stay in Germany, I enjoy meeting new local people from various places and I try to explore the culture of German speaking countries. But I´m expanding my knowledge of foreign languages in these times by starting to learn new language - Spanish and revising my (at the moment poor) Russian skills.
