ABOUT ME

I am an enthusiastic, cheerful and sensitive anthropology graduate. When I was 18 I decided to live outside my native Poland and since then I have studied and worked in a few different places. I enjoy moving around, exploring different countries and cultures and getting to know interesting people. I love the very moment of being on the train, on the bus or on the plane and the feeling of movement. My travelling philosophy is simple - I believe one needs at least a few months to truly get to know a place and therefore I am a big fan of studying abroad, student exchanges, volunteering, internship and placement programmes etc.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I both host surfers and surf myself.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It all started in fall 2010 which is when I first got into the idea of couchsurfing. While living in Argentina I went on a short trip to Uruguay and was hosted by a fantastic host who fully embraced the couchsurfing spirit and showed me what it was about. Later on I was lucky enough to meet equally wonderful hosts in Amsterdam. That is when decided to reciprocate and together with my flatmate and best friend we hosted surfers from China, Germany, Norway and Spain in our flat in Aberdeen, Scotland. Recently I visited Edinburgh where I was received by yet another wonderful host. Couch surfing is the World Wide Web at its best and I love how it connects us!
