ABOUT ME

I'm a 20 year old student at Macalester College. I'm a fairly ardent environmentalist, which is the reason I'm going to school for environmental studies and political science. I like to think of myself as pretty outgoing, and full of good (bias!) jokes. I also quite enjoy arguing politics, though my current knowledge is largely limited to US matters. I'm not a fan of most sports, with the exception of football (soccer). I referee when I'm home in Wisconsin, so I've gained a pretty deep love of the sport. I love biking. Seriously, everything involving bikes is my favorite thing ever, seriously. I love riding them, telling people about them, the infrastructure behind them, and convincing people to ride them. You'll probably be forced to ride one, if you stay with me. You think I'm kidding...I'll be living this semester in an EcoHouse -- a small community where we'll try to live as intentionally as possible, with the smallest footprint, while trying to spread our thoughts and strategies.

PHILOSOPHY

Bikes. And yes, that actually is a philosophy; we can talk about it, when you come visit. Or vice versa, I suppose that could happen too.

But really, I'm an agnostic environmentalist, with a smidgeon of socialism going on in there, to boot.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Biked errywhere. I've spent a few months traveling Europe, as well -- 3 weeks of which were solo travels. So there are some pretty great stories to tell there.
