ABOUT ME

I am Mau, a string art-lover, and graphic designer from Quito. I love paper, threads, and handcrafts. In addition I love music and dancing. I like watching choreography routines on youtube and I think what a cool world is this where people can dance together in harmony. I love spending time on my terrace, having a different point of view of life, being grateful and dancing with myself... a mytical experience indeed.

Soy Mau, un amante de el arte con hilos, y un diseñador gráfico de Quito. Me encanta la artesanía en papel e hilos. Además me encanta la música y bailar. A veces paso tiempo mirando rutinas coreográficas y pienso que es muy chévere como la gente pueden unirse y bailar junta en armonía. Amo mi terraza en Quito, estar ahí y tener una perspectiva diferente de la vida, sentirme agradecido y bailar, estar ahi es como algo místico para mi.

I am a moon chaser. Full moon normally wakes me up at midnight it seems I have a moon connection. I normally try to see the bright and dark side of things and situations because I believe in Balance.

Soy un enamorado de la luna. Normalmente la luna llena me despierta a la media noche y siento una fuerte conexión con ella. En la vida trato de ver el lado claro y obscuro de las cosas. Creo en el Equilibrio.

I like geometry, geography, chocolate, art, men (… did i type “men”?) well yes, i am gay and proud -)

Me gusta la geometría, la geografía, el chocolate, el arte, los hombres. Y si, los hombres ya que soy gay y estoy super orgulloso de serlo -)

I see myself like an adaptable and open minded man. Spiritual, but not floating around (yet). I am curious… in a good way. Sarcastic in confidence. And a intuitive most of the time.

Me considero un hombre adaptable y de mente abierta. Espiritual, pero aún no floto. Curioso en el mejor de los sentidos. Sarcástico ya en confianza. Y un tipo de hombre intuitivo normalmente.

- I think that there is a geometrical path to lead you to meet people that you must meet for learning from them and teaching something too. / Creo que existe un camino geométrico que te lleva a conocer a la gente que debes conocer para aprender de ellos y enseñar algo también.

- I write sexx with double x, at least. / Yo escribo sexxo con doble x, al menos. ;-)

Music: I do not have a fine ear and i can´t play instruments, but I love music, and i am open to many genres depending on my mood. Discovering and sharing music is cool. My song of the year: Something Just Like This by The Chainsmokers feat. Coldplay.

No tengo buen un oido my fino y no se tocar ningún instrumento, pero me encanta la música, abieto a muchos géneros y depende del momento y ánimo. Descubrir y compartir música is chévere.

I saw the End of the World in May 2012, which was just the beginning of my new world -)
Patagonia, Argentina. I love the glaciers and icebergs, they are Hot!

Para el fin del mundo del 2012, me fue a la Patagonia argentina y llegué a Ushuaia. Vi el fin del mundo y esto fue el comienzo de otro para mi. Amé los glaciares y los tempanos de hielo, son re guapos!
