ABOUT ME

Country West Australian of Irish heritage interested in travelling, other cultures and social justice.

As a traveller I like to visit sites of natural, cultural and historical significance. Studying International Politics and living for around 2 years in Timor Leste ignited an interest in travelling and experiencing different ways of life.

What I really love though is getting to meet people and have long chats over tea, coffee, beer, wine or shisha!

PHILOSOPHY

Winton was talking about surfing (something I have never even tried) but this quote resonated with me and I think is a motivating factor in why I love travelling.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Love to host couchsurfers and now I'm travelling looking forward to meeting other couchsurfers and crashing on people's couches!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I started hosting when I lived in the far North of Western Australia. I met some really great people through that experience.

As a traveller I have only couchsurfed so far in Iran an Turkey but what an incredible experience that has been. Iranian and Turkish hospitality is like nothing I have experienced before.
