Overview
About Me
I am a french plant ecologist living the dream in New Zealand. I love traveling, meeting new people and discussing the world late in the night around good food and coffee.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I started to host couchsurfers back when I lived in Montpellier, France, and now in New Zealand my couch is usually open to travelers met on the road and friends passing by. I think couchsurfing is the best way to travel, connect with people from around the world and get or offer a flavor of what it is like to live in the country, as opposed to visiting it.
Interests
I am really into swing dancing, music, reading, botany and hiking. I work as a plant ecologist, so I will tend to spend some time gazing at plants whenever possible. I play the cello and sing a bit with friends, enjoy reading for hours in cafes on my own and striking conversations with strangers. I also do rock climbing and just starting learning to surf...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
For a couple of months in South Africa, I spent my days observing white rhinos in the savannah, just lying on my stomach in tree platforms for hours. Best fieldwork ever.
