About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Make people happier

ABOUT ME

I was a Law student and I finished my bacc, but haven't done my lawyer licence because I don't want to be a lawyer at all. In cegep (between University and High school), I was really interessed in Art and culture.
I have been living in Switzerland, being an Au Pair and a traveller for a bit over 2 years.
I am back home and having now a beautiful family.

I am a calm person, loving the outdoors activities and cultural activities. I am not fan of clubs; I do prefer pubs!

PHILOSOPHY

I prefer that people laught at me than they cry because of me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Living now in Québec City. And unable to change this on this site. And if I can host interesting people, I'll be happy. So please, check my profile on warmshower. PLEASE CALL IF YOU WANT AN ANSWER; I DON'T CHECK MY EMAILS.
I try to be a very good visitor each time.
I went to really nice couchsurfing events, like the Halloween Party in Zürich, the weekly meeting in Québec City, as camping also with CS QUébec City.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had some kind of couchsurfing in Ireland, but with camping. I cycled a while there and I was pitching my tent on the field of farms, on the backyard of a 4 stars sea-food restaurant, in garden of people...
I stayed at a marvellous place in Strasbourg. I stayed with Sylvie Geiger who told us what to do in her town. Her roomates are very sympatics. Nice chats and good wines with them! Merci les filles!

Interests

Meeting new people, new cultures, go to the other. Travel is a good way to do that, but you can do that in the streets too. I like to cycle and to camp.

Music, Movies, and Books

So many. Just can imagine how many movies I could put here. Harold and Maude is a classical (I don't like it just because the main character is also called Maude). Pulp Fiction, All the Sergio Leone (my favorite one is Once upon a time), Dancing in the Dark, Edouard aux mains d'argent, Nightmare before Christmas, Home alone (hahaha!), Cars (almost all the Disney, with the exception of Lilo and Stitch), Schrek, Astérix Mission Cléopâtre. Elephant is amazing, gives me headache... Supersize me, just can't stop watching it. And I was about forgeting Star wars, Star Trek and Dune. This is not an exhaustive list. I could continue. I have more than 400 movies at home... a bit crazy, the girl
Music: actually, I miss my quebecer music. I can listen to almost everything. I am not a fan of country, but I like Johny Cash. I am not a fan of Rap, but I begin to find it interesting sometimes... I like Opera music. But I adore Musical! I am a bit old classical on my music, Beatles, The Doors, Alanis Morissette. I love arabic music and music that comes from all around the world. I HATE techno music and trance; get on my nerves in 2 secondes.
Book: Le petit Prince. Les 3 Mousquetaires (all the Alexandre Dumas, with the exception of Le comte de Monte Christo), Harry Potter. I like Alexandre Jardin. Shakespeare in English. I loved A Long Walk, Survivre avec les loups. I adore comics: Astérix, Thorgal, Yoko, Bernard Prince, XIII, Paul, the 70ths were great! I used to like Tintin when I was young, but not now; he is a bit too mysogyne and racism...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

a 50 days on two-wheels all by myself in Ireland!
a month on two-wheels and 50pounds of luggages in Scotland! Wasn't easy every day, but definitly worth the effort!!
