About Me

CURRENT MISSION

work hard, play harder ;)

ABOUT ME

"Artsy, Friendly and Wierd" was my friend's response when i asked him how he would describe me in three words. I guess it`s fairly accurate.
Born in Salvador, lived in Rio de Janeiro, Luanda, London, Edinburgh, and currently back in Rio.

I'm at the service of ideas that conspire to evolve how we can relate to the world and to each other. I believe in exponential impact trough the power of communication, design, facilitation and community building. Hence, i LOVE Couchsurfing.

Back in rio i have a design & video company called Estudio Pira (www.estudiopira.com), another called Fácil (Creative Consultancy, Facilitation) and im a conspirator at Catete92, an open collaborative house.

PHILOSOPHY

Forget ideologies. Lets dance

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've joined the community in May 2010 and im just amazed at how many incredible people i`ve managed to meet so far, both hosting and surfing.

visited 17 states (7.55%).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I`ve stopped compiling lists of places and nationalities i`ve surfed/hosted with cause its just been far too many. And all of them were awesome.

Interests

Bunch of random stuff. Curiosity does take me to strange, strange places.
I'm generally interested in all sorts of art-related, science-related and spiritually charged stuff. And then i regurgitate some arty stuff myself. (if u wanna see some of that, here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/ggatz )

Music. Eclectic. Electric. Generally quite tolerant.

Lets see...i can share some tips on drawing, how to make a sketchbook, prepare a caipirinha (brazilian drink), some computer geeky shit, and how to get yourself smashed into pieces (oh yeh).

I still have to learn how to ride a bike (properly)
