About Me

I am a 28-year-old Data Analyst with a deep appreciation for honesty, openness, and unpretentiousness. I strive to stay humble and grounded in all aspects of my life.

I like meeting new people from different cultures, comparing ways of living and our idiosyncrasies, across some pints of beer or cider, or why not some cocktails or spirits. I spend my weekends hanging out with my friends doing different activities, from photography to roller-skating, or mainly going to different pubs.

I like my field of study, but I really enjoy learning about someone else’s. Before deciding my major, I was interested in both naval engineering and microbiology; tough choice. So, as you can see, I am always interested in different topics.

I’d practically get on well with anyone with whom I can have a drink a nice talk :D

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like the idea Couchsurfing proposes to bring together people who share a love for travelling and discovering this world we live in a different less typical and commercial way.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite movies are: Breakfast at Tiffany's, A Streetcar Named Desire, Clueless, The Shawshank Redemption, It's a Wonderful Life, etcetera.

Music-wise, I have a very wide taste. I enjoy Queen, Lorde, The Beatles, Ellie Goulding, Ariana Grande, Aerosmith, Skrillex, Diana Krall.

The books I most enjoyed reading were Machiavelli's "The Prince", "Leviathan" by Hobbes, "Open Veins of Latin America: Five Centuries of the Pillage of a Continent" of E. Galeano.

Teach, Learn, Share

From the variety of areas I feel comfortable teaching, I offer: biking, swimming, using chopsticks, playing guitar, making banana pancakes, and coping with anxiety. Your choice 😅

I would love to get to know those places of your city that you love for some special reason and that maybe I end loving as well. I also have the project of speaking the 6 official languages of the UN, so if you speak Russian or Chinese, I’d love to just hear some of it.
