About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I want to experience adventure, travel, music, people, and ultimately life.

ABOUT ME

I was born and raised on an island called Maui, in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. That always makes for some interesting stories.

I moved to Seattle for college and immediately found myself in an extremely opposite way of life than what I'd grown up with. It was a good change though. If I had to pick just one thing to do every single night of the week here in Seattle it would be to go to a rock show.

I love music. And live music at that. The best thing about moving to Seattle is the opportunity I have had to see many of my favorite bands live and learn about a ton of other bands I'd never heard of before. I can't explain the feeling I get when I am listening to good music.

I graduated college in June 2008 and have been involved in that internal tug-of-war. The left side of my brain is telling me to use the degree I just got and get a real job. The right side is telling me travel for the next few years, only staying in one place long enough to make money for the next adventure.
I think I will listen to the right side for a while.

I went on a "trip of a lifetime:" a back-packing adventure through western Europe with three friends last fall, 2008. We traveled for 2 months and 2 days and it was the most amazing thing I have ever experienced in my life. I can't even begin to describe the awesome things we saw and did. It makes me want to devote my life to travel! That trip sparked the desire for me to do another big trip again and that's what I'm in the middle of now! My friend Andre and I are currently traveling through Spain, Portugal, and eastern Europe for 2 1/2 months. It's been amazing so far and I can't wait for the rest of it!

PHILOSOPHY

I try to be really honest because I hate being lied to and the feeling of lying to someone, especially someone you care about.

I also believe in "making things happen." Do what you want to do in life! Don't say you're gonna do something knowing you won't really try to do it! Go for it!
