Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I couch surfed for 4 months in 2008 through out SE Asia, Oz, NZ and Cook Islands. Then I hosted non stop for a little over a year on maui. I've met some amazing people and have some great memories. In 2008-2010 I hosted surfers for for a year and half almost non stop with several groups staying at the same time sometimes.

HOW I PARTICIPATE

If you have questions about Maui please post them in the "Maui No Ka Oi" Group, do not send me a email asking only me, as I am too busy to answer 101 questions…. and most times the answers are already in the group somewhere.

If you need a place to stay on maui... i might be your guy. If you need suggestions on where to go and what to do... ask in the groups/forums. If you wanna go out for drinks...you can drink i'll watch:)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
In 2008 I couchsurfed my way through: Thailand, Cambodia, Viet Nam, Australia, New Zealand, Rarotonga and Fiji. I used Couchsurfing the whole way and only stayed in hotels 5 nights over a 4 month period. It wasn't the free accommodations that made this a positive experience... it was the people i met and the experience i had along the way. This was first international travels so i don't really know any other way to travel, but i can definitely say that COUCHSURFING is the way to go!!!! Since being back of Maui I've hosted a lot of people. COUCHSURFING.com is AMAZING!!!!!!

Interests
