About Me

My name is Maura and I am italian, from Abruzzo, one of the least known, developed and touristic region in the peninsula, but among the best to visit!
Grew up in Pescara with lots of "ngulo compà" and "mi ssti gguardà" (for those who can understand), atheist and vegetarian since 1996, pupil of Aternum Gymnastic Club, daughter (and sister) of two piano players and descendant of a messy family.

Food&beverage: I am picky. I am unfortunately allergic to mushrooms, I don't like a bunch of stuff and I don't drink coffee, but I swear I am italian ;)
Social life: I don't like drinking alcohol but if I have to I mostly opt for a Desperado.
I generally like partying and dancing and I do karaoke when I feel inspired.
I like crosswords, playing italian card games, chess and ping pong.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all music. It is impossible to identify my favourite song since I constantly fall in love with different ones!
I like afro vibes, funky beats, rock, pop music, rap, classical music, whatever sounds good for me!

Same for books and movies, omg what a mess, I like different things, but for sure Leon, Gone Girl, Shutter Island and Promising Young Women (among the international movies) are the ones that touched me.
Disney, with all its imperfections, such as gender stereotypes and controversial moral lessons, is part of my childhood.

I read randomly: Kundera ("The Farewell Waltz") and Coelio ("Veronika Decides to Die"), Laetitia Colombani ("La Tresse"), Ottessa Moshfegh ("My Year of Rest and Relaxation") and many others are my fav books which I'd suggest

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I survived the lack of real ice cream, Mulino Bianco's biscuits, yummy sushi, cheesy pizzas and hot water for an year!
I climbed the Mount Mulanje in Malawi with my uncrackable flip-flops!
