About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Meet new people. Try new things. Never stop exploring. (Yea I stole that from NorthFace)

ABOUT ME

I like sports. I am fun. I am adventurous. I am interested in most things. I am deathly afraid of dinosaurs. I also fear natural disasters and often have nightmares about them. I don't like clubs, but I love sports bars. I love t-shirts and jeans! I have a dream to become a full time professional photographer, but in the meantime I love bringing my camera along with me on my travels!

PHILOSOPHY

"If you find yourself dog tired at night, maybe it's because you have been growling all day."

Interests

I love traveling because it opens your eyes, mind, and heart to so many new and exciting things. I think it is important to step outside of your comfort zone so that you can continue to grow as a person of this world. I love learning about and experiencing new cultures.
I love anything active. I play on a rugby team and Gaelic football team in Taipei where I have met some of my closest friends from all over the world. I certainly love the hustle and bustle of a big city, but I also enjoy the serene atmosphere of the country or mountainside. I love hiking and camping, especially with friends! Anything related to traveling, sports, camping, hiking, or new faces and places is something I am interested in!

Music, Movies, and Books

Don't know where to start...really there isn't enough room.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1) Seeing the Taj Mahal for the first time: Normally, I am not a "thing" person when I travel. I am much more interested in chatting with locals or just sitting around and observing the culture than going to see "things". BUT: when I saw the Taj Mahal for the first time, I literally almost lost my breath. There are no words to describe it, and I think everyone should try to get to India to see it.
2) When I visited Hanoi: When I first arrived in Vietnam, I ventured out on my own one night. I found this little place along the road that sold beers, grabbed one, and sat on a chair alongside the busy street. The cars were honking, people were shouting...it was kind of a crazy scene to be sitting down in the middle of. As I sat there, I must have met like 9 million people that night, listening to their traveling adventures and sharing mine. It was one of those, "Is this really my life?" moments.
