ABOUT ME

I studied at New York University where I majored in French-Linguistics, Spanish, and Arabic. I will be doing my Masters starting in September in Teaching English as a Second Language at Columbia. I am always looking for language partners; right now I am particularly looking for someone to practice my Spanish with. If you live in New York and are learning or are a native speaker, please message me! The happiest moments in my life are when I am traveling and/or speaking the foreign languages I have learned. I have lived with three host families in France, and traveled throughout France(Marseille, Paris, Strasbourg, Lyon, other small towns in the south), Italy, the Czech Republic, Canada(Quebec and Montreal) and my most recent trip abroad was Algeria with my most recent host family.
I am going to Peru in late my to mid june which I am very much looking forward to!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I met couch surfers while studying abroad in Paris and everyone I met was so open, nice, and enthusiastic to talk about our cultural differences and similarities. I also surfed in Quebec and met locals in Peru.

J'ai pris un verre avec des gens très sympas quand j'ai passé un semestre à Paris et tout le monde était très sympa, ouvert, et enthousiaste-on a beaucoup parlé de nos différences et nos similarités culturelles.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I taught english to adult immigrants in NYC The experience was extremely inspiring and led me to continue to volunteer while in France.
Studying in Paris was the best decision I could have ever made for
myself.
My trip to Algeria was also one of the most amazing things I have ever done.
