Overview
About Me
We are a fun-loving digital nomad couple, currently cycling through Europe to find our farmland.
I’m (Maureen) a cheerful nature, love meeting new people and hearing about their passions & dreams!
Steve (33) is my partner and even we’re not alike we share the same passions & dreams what makes us a great team.
Steve gets the best out of people and loves a good conversation with lots of laughter.
While travelling we don´t wanna miss any opportunities to learn as much as possible about sustainable living and living self-sufficient. So we started to grow our own veggies at the caravan we lived in for about five months in NZ. That was 4 years ago. Now we’re both permaculture designers and helping people to live a self-sustaining life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We are on Couchsurfing to have new experiences and to meet some cool and interesting people, with who we can share fun stories with. We also like to get a locals perspective on the area we are visiting.
Also we are driven by the question „how we can live a sustainable life with other people“
And the best way to learn it is out here in the world with other people!
Interests
While travelling with our bikes we are learning about permaculture, personal growth and how to grow plants in different countries.
We both like to go swimming.
I(Maureen) would love to surf again.

Fruit of Knowledge, Dark,
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I (Maureen) made a vegan Tiramisu. Couldn’t believe how delicious it was!
I learned how to ride a semi-automatic in Hanoi - not the smartest idea - but heyyy I’m still alive 🤩
We Started cycling from Germany and working at the same time -it’s hard but if you wanna do something- you can!
Growing our own veggies from the seed to the fruit. Just so proud how it worked out at a temporary home we lived in for about 5 months.
🌱
I (Steve) bought a motorbike in Vietnam and rode all around north and then down to the south. I just loved it!
