About Me
Hello folks! I'm Maurice from Bremen in the north of Germany and I like travelling and meeting new people. I study Media Informatics (Computer Science) and I'm about to finish my Bachelor. Apart from travelling I'm interested in cooking (I was told to be not bad at it), playing and listening to music (to me good music needs two ingredients: bass and soul. Genres don't matter, but I'm very well at home in Reggae and Jazz), I play the drums, I love hiking, get in contact with different cultures and lifestyles and discover the world! Let's go!
"If you want to go quickly, go alone. If you want to go far, go together." - African proverb
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To be a host and to be a guest ;-) I don't like the feeling of being a typical tourist somewhere. Sightseeing is not only about being at a place, but diving into the place's culture and you meet the culture with the people. That's why I love to stay with people.
Interests
We both enjoy arts, music, travelling, meeting new people, cooking, taking photos
Music, Movies, and Books
Reggae, Jazz, Blues, Funk, Soul, Dancehall, HipHop, Grime, DnB, Classical, Rock, Metal, World music - it's only a matter of bass and soul ;-)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Going to West Africa (Senegal, Gambia), Interrail Tour summer 2016 and much more ...
Teach, Learn, Share
I could teach English, German, basics on the drums, stuff about IT. I'd learn almost anything if you have a passion for it :-)
What I Can Share with Hosts
Primarily, a place to sleep, nice food, good music, funny, deep, philosophical, exciting conversations
Countries I’ve Visited
Austria, Belgium, England, France, Gambia, Italy, Netherlands, Senegal, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland
