Hi there, what's up fellas. My name is Mauricio Abib, born in a town in interior of São Paulo, Brazil. Did my graduation in the same State's coastline, marine biology in São Vicente. After seven years living there, I moved to the north of the country, Manaus - Amazonas.

Right now living in Pantanal and working as a guide.

The reason I got there was of course because of the will of getting to know such beautiful region as Amazonian rainforest, and also to work with Agroecology. I am now doing my masters degree for Agriculture in the Humid Tropics.

For then, that's where I am.

I also like taking pictures.

Opaa, firmeza galera. Meu nome é Mauricio Abib, nasci no interior de São Paulo, Brasil. Me formei no litoral do mesmo estado, biologia marinha em São Vicente. Depois de sete anos morando lá, me mudei pro norte do país, Manaus - Amazonas.
Atualmente morando no Pantanal trabalhando como guia naturalista.

A razão que me levou até ali foi certamente pelo desejo de conhecer tão bela região da Floresta Amazônica, e também para trabalhar com Agroecologia. Hoje estou fazendo mestrado em Agricultura no Trópico Úmido.

Por enquanto é onde eu me encontro.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe that people are supposed to be freely in movement, that the world shouldn't have frontiers, and that everybody share things in commun, and have something to learn with any living being that crosses with you.

For that, a good way of sharing a little bit of the Love that rules the Universe, is to help human beings to get a place to feel like home, a place to rest while in movement at the same time.

Acredito que as pessoas devem ser livres e em movimento, que o mundo não deveria ter fronteiras, e que todo mundo compartilha coisas em comum, e tem algo para aprender com todos os seres vivos que cruzam com seu caminho.

Para tal, um bom modo de dividir um pouquinho do Amor que governa o Universo, é através da ajuda a outros seres humanos para encontrar um lugar para se sentir em casa, um local para se descansar enquanto em movimento concomitantemente
