About Me

Hey there! I'm a super chill guy from Lima, Peru. I currently live in sunny San Diego, and I'm loving it here! Do you like beer? I'm in love with craft beers, so if you do, we probably will get along! If not.. probably still too!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I came to the states to study 9 years ago and I'm getting close to finishing up with my education, so I thought I should at least travel a little bit before I delve into the real world! Couch surfing seems like the perfect opportunity to do that, while getting to meet some new people along the way.

Interests

I have a wide, super wide range of interests that include rock climbing, swimming, playing tennis, running, hiking, camping, cooking, finding the perfect cappuccino (this happens any time I go to a new city), and oh I don't know, so much more!

Music, Movies, and Books

This is a trick section, because listing this stuff, especially movies, is hard... but I'll start with the original Indiana Jones trilogy, Star Wars, pretty much anything by Christopher Nolan (those batman movies though... probably the best) and back to the future, oh and so many more.

Music: Jack Johnson, Bob Marley, John Mayer, Norah Jones, Alejandro Sanz, Andrea Bocelli, Frank Sinatra, The Beatles (duh), Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Oasis... this list will go on forever.

Books: Harry Potter (of course!), Cien Años de Soledad

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Probably hiking up to the Andes for 3 days and sleeping underneath the stars. I was still in high school and I don't fully understand how I even managed, but I loved it and have been meaning to do something like that ever since.

Oh an probably skydiving. Yep, that's probably more amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love playing the guitar and don't mind teaching that at all! I am also a native Spanish speaker and I have taught friends how to say a few words. I love learning new things, especially about different cultures (I'm super open) and believe that the world is just one big thing that needs to be celebrated. We are all different and THAT is what makes everyone special.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My sarcasm, enthusiasm, a 6-pack of good craft beer, home brewing instructions, guitar music and cooking! I love cooking so if you are up for a Peruvian-flavored dinner, I'll totally be into cooking!
