Hello, I'm Mauricio, 32, currently living in Vienna, Austria - half-Austrian and half-Costa Rican (even though I can't pronounce the Spanish "r" at all :-) and I'm aware that I definitely don't look Latin). I'd describe myself as a genuinely positive person and very interested in new people and cultures - which is why I love Couchsurfing.

As I'm Austrian I will always be satisfied enjoying a nice cold beer in the park while philosophizing about the world. Still, what I probably enjoy most about visiting new places is getting to know local life - activities, customs, food, whatever. I'm just curious to meet interesting people and do new stuff along the way. Looking for new experiences, and I'll be happy to share mine!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The real question is why I didn't join Couchsurfing earlier. I have met several Couchsurfers during my travels, each single time has been a great experience.
