CURRENT MISSION
Carpe diem carpe noctum carpe vidum
ABOUT ME
Traveling has been a great passion since 2004. I enjoy discovering new ways of thinking and living in every stop I make on my journey.
I enjoy good wine and beer as well as noticing every subtle flavor on a good conversation, and above all I love music. This 2014 I'm going on an Eurotrip to metal festivals and electronic ones up in Norway. Very excited.
I love Nature in itself. Seasons, animals, the sea, the woods. You can see more when you are bare-feet touching the earth, water or grass and breathing pure air.
I'm a teacher of English working on private English classes and at the British Institute in Santiago. Love languages.
PHILOSOPHY
"Music is a higher revelation than all wisdom and philosophy"
Ludwig van Beethoven
Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I firstly discovered CouchSurfing on a textbook in my classes and I discovered that was a great idea that fits my expectations on having future surfers and visiting them. I particularly like this idea because you live IN the culture as a member of it, not as a 'tourist'.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've been a host of several American students via The Experiment Exchange Student Program and of one German lady a few years ago, being a fruitful friendship until now.
I have no experience in CouchSurfing because I opened my account a few months ago. I have great expectations on this way of traveling though.
Centres d'intérêt
When in a new city I love noticing how people live, express themselves, pronunciation of their native language, and how that is connected to their surroundings, be it culture (architecture, letters, music, primordial roots, etc.)

Morceaux de musique, films et livres
I love music. There are some genres I enjoy more than others like metal and electronic. I love salsa dancing, and central american rhythms like Calypso. Dancing in general I truly love to watch and do because it's an unfiltered expression of the self, be it headbanging or more elaborate choreographs in ballet.
I love reading as well, as 'Reading is to the mind what exercise is to the body'. I love Victorian literature a lot and non-fiction as well, specially on science and psychology...could also be sociology as well.
Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue
One of the most important times in my life is when I was in Stonehenge in Wiltshire, England. I felt the Celtic culture to the bone. Amazing place where human life and nature is just ONE.
Enseignez, apprenez, partagez
All kinds of people you learn from. When you face a new culture and their people 'do as Romans do' makes a lot of sense. Respectful people and their customs, even when they are senseless to me, I love to live and share with because it is a undeniable possibility that that custom may make sense in the future.
