I met the coach with a friend I made in Paris and told me about the group, because I travel for years, but always using hotels, homes of friends who i meet online and hostels. I found very interesting because share experiences with people from different cultures.

Interests

I am an artist in my country, then what really catches my attention is issues related to culture. Working as a journalist and writer of one of the largest newspapers in São Paulo, I travel extensively to find new topics of interest to readers, and of course my curiosity. I like to spend my time writing, composing (I am a musician), going to see movies, reading, running in the park, traveling, chatting with friends, finally enjoying life as best as possible in a manner that is in my tone.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a cinephile, then I love cinema and see a lot of movies, but my favorites directors are Woody Allen, Scorsese, Tarantino, David Lynch, Tim Burton, Almodovar, Polanski and many others. I've written two books in Brazil about cinema. One of them its telling stories about backstage and other is a guide about Sex and Cinema.

I devour books. Some of my favorite writers are Bukowski, Shakespeare, Tolstoi, Douglas Adams, Ben Elton, Chuck Palahniuk, and a good brazilians writers too, like Nelson Rodrigues, Martha Medeiros, Luis Fernando Verissimo, etc...

Music i love rock and roll, blues, jazz, classics...some bands as Aerosmith, Rolling Stones, AC DC, Doors and so many others...singers I love Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen, etc, etc, etc...I have a band in Brazil...the site is: www.mauricionunes.com.br

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Already been interviewed by the biggest names in Brazilian TV; received in one week more than 500 emails from readers congratulating my articles, because they help them some way; have realized the dream of a child, taking her to Disney; I've done shows for audiences of 50 million people; already ran a part of the world making new friends; finally, I think I try to leave a beautiful biograph.

Teach, Learn, Share

The great purpose of travel, whether via coachsurfing or not, is to exchange experiences. Teaching and of course, learn a lot. I appreciate that. New people, new cultures, new places. I am always ready to learn and teach.
