About Me

"About me..." That is a tricky question.
At least I like to believe that I am a spirit. Sometimes a warrior. A curious adventurer having joy in planet earth experience. Willing to always spread some of my warmth to my surroundings. A rock climbing-lover. A nature-lover. A love-lover.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I think that couchsurfing is a way to follow the idea of considering the planet earth as our home and each human as our brothers and sisters :)

Interests

Climbing!!!

But I also love camping with my friends, doing wood fire nights, listening to interesting stories, being involved in deep talks, and to improvise music with instruments and chants, between other things…

I love topics related to shamanism, indigenous traditions, social anthropology, to the mysteries of what our mind is, to discuss "what reality really is", social psychology, how education should be, how our societies should be, how can we do something better for the environment, and the list could continuing on but I don't want to loose your attention :P

I have been vegetarian for seven years because I am against livestock industry and animals are my siblings :) although, while traveling I can become flexible with my diet as to certain reasons.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Between other native american rituals I've been participating, I did one called "Vision Quest" in the mountains of "Amatlan de Quetzalcoatl", which has been my most life-changing experience. It consisted in four days of loneliness with no food, no water, and restricted movement. I could tell you more about that in person :P

I climbed the "Pico de Orizaba" (highest volcano in North America with 5,636 mts above sea level) with a friend having just a few money. We walked the double of a common ascent to get to the top because we did not spend on taxi nor renting a 4x4 jeep to start the classic way. Than, in our way down we found an american woman who fractured tibia and fibula in the middle of the glacier. My friend and I, with the help of some military personnel, got her off the mountain. We literally saved her life :)

I went to "Torres del Paine" in Patagonia, Chile and accidentally solo trek the "Huella del Puma". It was my intention to just do the classic hike of the National Park with my partner but she got sick and then I took the wrong path to one of the hardest trekkings of the park. That was a bit scary but awesooomeee!!!
