About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Staying young until I'm 85.

ABOUT ME

I'm just another normal, party loving, philosophy addicted, travel maniac.
I'm generally either settling in a whole new life, or leaving an old, boring one. I'm not very good with middle grounds.
I believe the final goal of life is to Talk, Play, and Laugh. Everything else (including pleasure) is meant to enable to do that freely and with our full focus.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in pleasures in all its forms. Physical of course but also spiritual, and social pleasure comes above all else. Communication is the beginning and end of all things. I just can't get enough of it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been hosting for a while in London and am now embarking in a long-term trip to see all the countries in the Americas (and the Caribbean). So I guess mostly by meeting up and trading stories...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Lots before I knew this site. I always had a couch for taking my stuff off my bed, and 90% of the time there was a friend (or a friend's friend) on it. Well, when I wasn't on a friend's couch anyway.

Interests

I like people, books, cultures, and basically everything with information in it. Oh, and food, partying, a good laugh and I think pleasurable conversation with good friends around a nice dinner is the highest possible level of human activity.

Note: Like everyone else, the list goes on and on to infinity. But for the ones below, it is true love: I don't know anything from them that I don't like. This part may look like overkill, but what you love is what you are, and I like to think that I am able to love a lot :).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I 'ran' the Paris Clubbing Marathon: Before, Bar, Club, After party, After party's After party.... Three days in a row, we had from noon till 6pm to rest. It was a bit hard in the end but definitely worth it. You tie amazing bonds with people when you meet them in 12 places in a row!
Travelled across three countries without a passport when invited by my brother for new year's eve, learnt the preciousness of a good education and sincere looking face when talking to officials anywhere.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm basically interested in any rare/specialised knowledge you possess. Or in any non rare knowledge I don't know of yet, which means basically everything. Also party tricks.

Esoterism, philosophy, obscure bits of history welcome :).

I can probably teach a thing or two, but you'll have to see for yourself. Mathematics as the ultimate (but most meaningless) work of art and the link between chaos theory and cosmology are two things I can go on about until someone knocks me out.
