ABOUT ME

I'm a musician (guitarist and music teacher, mainly) who loves being in a new environment and getting different perspectives from new places. I love meeting people and having great experiences with them, and I do also enjoy some alone, meditative time every now and then.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

For the time being, I'm mainly looking for a place to stay and people to meet in NYC in January 2015. I bought the plane tickets, and so far have pretty much no idea what I'll be doing there. All I know is I really want to see New York and the USA and travel and meet people!

Intereses

Music of many diferent genres, jazz, classic, contemporary, pop, rock, brazilian, you name it.

Arts in general, movies, theaters, museums.

Seeing nature, breathtaking landscapes and getting to know new places.

A few of my favorite musicians are Stravinsky, Bartok, Haydn, John Coltrane, Mike Stern, Kurt Cobain, The Beatles, Tom Jobim, Edu Lobo, I could go on forever...

Some of the movies I like are Contact, many Woody Allen films, some Ang Lee films, Kubrick and many others.

Some of the latests books I've been reading are Dostoievsky's The Idiot, the Silmarilion and a brazilian writer named Reinaldo Moraes.

I'm totally up for teaching some guitar and other music related stuff! I'd love to get some French tips and practice, I'm totally rusty though...

I'm very likely to be carrying my guitar during my travels, and love playing and sharing music with people! I'm crazy about playing drunk-guitar-party songs whenever I get the chance!
