About Me

I'm currently living in a little town in North Wales, as a workaway volunteer. Before landing here, I spent almost 4 amazing months in Belfast, as an Erasmus intern.

During my BA in Archaeology, I spent my last semester in Poland as an Erasmus student, and I loved it! That experience is probably the best thing I've ever done!

Everywhere I go, I love listening to whatever people want to share with me. Life is too short to not take the opportunity to learn something interesting, or unusual, even from complete strangers

PHILOSOPHY
Patience, kindness and contentment. And enthusiasm when you can. Do we need anything else?

Interests

I used to play American Football, but I've come to prefer rugby: unfortunately, I've never had the opportunity to play it, so far.
I did Muay Thai for a while, judo a long time ago, horse riding when I had the chance (and this is absolutely something I'm willing to start doing seriously, sooner or later).

During my years at the university of Venice, I could spend much time paddling in my department dragon boat team (we won the university competition, last year - and poorly lost it this year, haha). But, mostly, rowing on a 2x with a friend. I really miss rowing in the lagoon, it's so beautiful and peaceful!

Music, Movies, and Books

When I listen to music, it's usually folk (Irish, English, Italian, Swedish, American folk, ...) or Irish rock/punk; nowadays, if I listen to metal, it's only to one band, sadly broken up: Windir.

I spend probably too much time watching Netflix

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Diving in the Canal Grande after winning the university dragon boat competition! If it's not incredible that my brave team and I are still alive or without a third eye, I don't know what it is!

(P.S.: a piece of advice: do not do jump in the Venice's canals, there's a fine for it. That was a special occasion and the police knew about it, but usually it is not allowed)

Teach, Learn, Share

If you ever visit Venice: I can say for sure that the best way to enjoy this unique city is from the level of the water, rowing or paddling on the lagoon (possibly not simply on a gondola tour). Just watch out for the motorboats, those are.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I like cooking, and if I can give a hand, I'm happy to!
Will love listening to your tales about your travels or experiences.

Countries I’ve Lived In

Italy, Northern Ireland, Poland, Wales
