About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My current mission is to plan my trip to Peru at the beginning of 2015. Peru is an amazing country and I hope to visit it and know every singularity of its amazing culture.

ABOUT ME

I was born in Brazil, and lived in Canada in 2013 and a part of 2014 to study at Lakehead University. I went to Canada because I won a scholarship to study civil engineering. I love to travel, visiting different places and meeting/talking to people really makes me happy. Every single person that I met, I tried to learn from them as much as I could, because everyone has a story to share that can make you a better person. I enjoy spending time on both indoor (such as museums and restaurants) and outdoor activities (such as sports or wandering in the city to know it better). I am pretty sociable, I like music of all kinds, since jazz to electronic music. Although my pronunciation in English is not that good because my accent, I can pretty much communicate in this language. I can speak a little bit of French, but my vocabulary is not so big, same thing in Spanish. And I speak, of course my mother language, Portuguese.

PHILOSOPHY

"Food for the body,
Drink for the spirit,
Music for the soul"

"Live simply
Lead with Spirit
Always try to do the right things right
Take time to myself"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I heard about couch surfing from a friend, and it seemed a great idea to create a profile here. I didn't host or was a guest yet. But I am looking for my first experience.

Interests

I am really into travelling and meeting new persons. I love going to pubs to drink beer with my friends. About Music, I love Brazilian music, classic Jazz, Folk, Indie, basically I can listening to all kind of music. Always that I travel, I bring with me a couple of books, I love the classics; since I lived almost all my life in Brazil, I didn't read the classics from somewhere else, but now I reading the classic of the English language. And at last but not least, I love volunteering work of any kind, anywhere, anytime. I've worked already with senior people, animals and special people with some metal difficulties.

As I said before I love any kind of music and/or book. Moreover, I love movies, mainly european movies, french. italians, etc, but I'm not a big fan of the hollywood movies tough.

Teach, Learn, Share

Although I am not an amazing cook, I always try to cook and show to my hosts some typical food from where I am from, Minas Gerais, which is the best food of Brazil lol.
