Hey Csurfers! I'm Mauricio from Chile but leaving abroad for +5 years now. Currently I'm just leaving a dream: I'm being blessed with the opportunity to study while travelling and focusing my career into something I really feel like supporting: sustainability and climate change.
"I am" a geologist, but rather than a profession, I would say that I am a person guided by my curiosity and my desire of exploring myself and the world. I want to meet new cultures and people with different paths. I love languages and now I'm super motivated learning French. I enjoy teaching too, so if you want to practice your Spanish, English or French, charmed to help you while having a good chat!

Art and culture is something that really interest me, as well as sports, history, and last but not least, nature.
I'm a conversationalist, so basically we can talk about any subject that may interest you (I do enjoy silence too).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am here because I love the idea of sharing with people that knows the places I'm visiting; because I love to share my culture while learning about a different one, and because I think it is really a better way of exploring new cities and lands. On the other hand, as now I'm starting my first long and freestyle trip (three months in the Mediterranean Sea and surroundings), I think the encounters I can have in Couchsurfing can really boost my experience. So, Couchsurfing is just perfect for my purpose: meet nice people willing to share their culture and to share a coach with me while having a good moment.
