ABOUT ME

Im here to explore the world and meet the people of it. A place is nothing with the people in it. Unless of course there are none and its wildness. My ambition to travel so far with such little time will be struggle between my want to stay and get to know people better and my desire to see more and meet more people.

I want to learn, experience and travel. My first month is learning to horse ride and my second walking 30 days across Spain on the Camino De Santiago. After then... the road is open and i hope to tour Europe, the Middle East before crossing the pond to the Americas.

I dont read as much as I would like. But traveling is a perfect time to do so. I'd welcome any recommendations.

As for music im pretty broad minded. I can chill out to Folk, rave to Dance and Techno, boggy to house and 70's or drive to Drum and Bass. But im definitely fond of independent solo artists.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Ive worked for a fireworks company for over 10 years part time. Ive put on fireworks shows in to 1000's of people as well as done explosive special effects for low budget films and airshows.

I also used to work events management at music festivals mostly, for 2 year full time and about 5 years in total. The combination of events management and firework effects saw me enjoying Champagne at Sherry Bassey's 70th Birthday party.

I've flown a plane and done aerobatics over my home town (eg. loop the loop, barrel role etc)

I've just completed the 900km walk from St.Jeans Pied Port to Santiago and then on to Finisterre. An amazing journey.

Teach, Learn, Share

Im practically minded and pretty handy at fixing or building things. Thats not to say that im a builder, im just able and willing.

With over 11 years experiences working for national environmental body, i know a surprising amount of information rivers, tides, sea, flood risk, biodiversity and more recently pollution and waste. Some of it interesting... some of it technical and i suspect boring to others.

I can ride a bike, sail a boat, climb a rock face, fly and plane, shoot a rifle, play a guitar and soon ride a horse.
