I study Electrical Engineering at NC State University in Raleigh, NC. I am studying abroad this semester (February 2015) at Massey University in Palmerston North, New Zealand. I enjoy the simple things in life like a nice country side or a plate of pasta.

I am looking for the cheapest and most interesting way to explore New Zealand. As a student, I am low on money and the best way to see as much as possible is to sleep for free. As an experience, the best way to get to learn new things about a place is from the locals, and what better way than staying with them.

兴趣

I enjoy sports as both a participant and a spectator. I mostly play soccer. I enjoy a game of pickup basketball every now and then and avidly follow my two teams: the Dallas Mavericks and the Charlotte Hornets.

In terms of movies I am a fan of mostly action and psychological. I am a big Christopher Nolan fan and also really enjoy all of Hayao Miyazaki's work if you are familiar with these directors. A few of my favorites that might help round out my area of interest are: Castaway, Braveheart, The Prestige, The Lord of the Rings, Forest Gump, Stranger than Paradise, It's a Wonderful Life, Grand Budapest Hotel, and of course, Star Wars.

The Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings, Ivanhoe, Lord of the Flies, The Great Gatsby, and A Tale of Two Cities account for some recent reads of mine and gives a pretty good look into what I enjoy.
