ABOUT ME

I see myself as an artist. My medium is code. It's the journey that excites me and keeps me going. The end result is just a side effect for others to admire. The journey must be a perfect balance of successes and failures, each wall being a little harder to climb. I enjoy the same rush a skater suffers when they pull off a manual for the first time. Each trick once conquered, leads to the drive to pull of the next harder one. I live for the juant, not necessarily where i end up. The goal is just an trigger to start the voyage.

Centres d'intérêt

I spend the majority of my day on my apple macbook pro, surfing hacker news, learning, listening to kcrw; thank you morning becomes eclectic; and mostly coding. After eight years of sailing under other captains, i've finally set sail on my own ship. It feels good to finally feel the boat turn when the wheel spins.

In all things i believe extremity in moderation. When I play video games, nothing else exists but the new world I've been immersed in. Its hard for me to put a book down when i become saturated in its characters and whims. If you there is ever a comic to read, its Warren Ellis's Transmetropolitan. If you feel like reading another after that, give The Watchmen a change, hope the movie hasn't already ruined it for you.

I take photos to allow others to see what my eyes perceive. I'm learning to play the guitar so i can sit on my porch when im old and play the blues all day. When I stand next to a rock face, my hands and feet start to tingle, envisioning myself climbing upward. I cook to allow myself to enjoy food instead of consuming it. I drink to enjoy complex flavors, nothing beats a glass of hennessy xo.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Roger Waters, Cochealla 2008, a moment in time i will never forget. We had dosed perfectly in time to peak when waters started his set. He played a few of his own songs, a few from the wall; comfortably numb, another brick in the wall; an hour had elapsed. Suddenly roger stops the music, walks to the microphone. "We're gonna take a 15 minute break... and when we come back we are going to play... The Dark Side of the Moon." The crowd goes wild. The entire crowd runs to the prota-poties to relieve themselves, and run back faster. Suddenly... manic laugher, helicopters, a women screaming.... so it began. Breath, breathe in the air.
