ABOUT ME

I've lived in Melbourne and Sydney, and have lived abroad in London and Leipzig (Germany), where lived and worked at a hostel in East London (good times!). I like living abroad, its vastly different from travelling continuously.

I'm an incredibly visual person, I like to design things, cook things, play basketball, and to meet great people. Love the idea of a shared community. Also...I love all things Japanese :)

PHILOSOPHY

Do as much with as little as possible. Less is more, more or less :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I first took notice after reading Brian Thacker's hilarious book: Sleeping Around: A Couch Surfing Tour of the Globe. I've surfed on floors and couches in Japan, England and Germany, and I have hosted many people in Melbourne too, just through word of mouth - I had 8 guests in my room at one point :) I'm pretty generous and welcoming when it comes to hosting, especially to those who are travelling! I also lived in a 12 bed dorm in London for 3 months...you can never have too many :)

Musik, Filme und Bücher

With music...I generally like bands with female vocalists...but my taste varies. It can be The Kills or The Abjects then can switch to Flume or Gessafelstein before a night out, then Warpaint or Andy Stott to chill out :) Minimal techno for pure concentration maybe? :)
