I was born and raised in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, moved to Russia when I was 13 and where I finished high school and graduated Technical University with MA in Mechanical engineering. Shortly after I moved to San Francisco, CA. It was my real big dream to live in Silicon Valley. During my 10 years in US I lived around states quite a bit: New York, Ohio, Tennessee, 3 years in Hawaii to name a few. I'm working as a software engineer and try hard to travel as much as possible. The best way to travel for me is to immerse into local culture, travel cheap and stay so i can connect with people and hear their stories.
Due to Covid intl travel ban for Americans... I'm driving my advanture vehicle from place to place, staying in Airbnbs and crushing on friends couches.

I love to travel, and when I do, I like to explore the places non-touristy, not rush way. So far I haven't found the better way to learn about country, city, town or village than from stories told by locals or other couchsurfers.

兴趣

I love to travel (obviously), love to visit historical places and collect people's stories. I also pretty active person, who loooove mountains, winter time I go snowboard as much as my schedule can allow that, in non-snowy times I'm a rock-climber and hiker. Love to bike as well, probably do around 50 miles a week just by commuting plus sometimes go for a longer rides through some woods with friends. I also like to do some fun projects with Arduino and learn some basic skills people don't care about this days, like pottery, glass blowing or welding

Many things I've done are amazing. I've been on Burning Man 3 times, building a camp from ground up. I've climbed the world's tallest artificial rock-climbing wall in 15 mins.
