I want to remind myself that we're lucky and having a good life. We have enough of everything (like a couch - more than we actually need) and it's time to give something back. I believe in receiving a smile for every smile you've given. I love to meet local, down-to-earth people who are willing to give something but I am also willing to share my stories and interests. Couchsurfing is a good way off the beaten track of capitalism, floods of tourists and anonymous travelling.
