Hey, I'm Max. I studied geography and worked in IT for a few years and I decided to offer myself a trip around the world for my 31st birthday ! I've planned this long journey to get out of my comfort zone, meet new people and better myself.

I'm very critical about myself and society and very questioning about Life. I wish to find some kind of balance while soaking up what the world has to offer while traveling these next months.

I'd describe myself as someone very reliable, respectful, funny, analytical and eager to learn and understand. I also don't do drugs nor alcohol and try to be vegetarian.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I think couch surfing is a great way to meet locals and have a less touristic approach of a place and its people. The whole hostel experience is very nice but limits your horizons. I'm not only looking to visit but also to experience how people live a place on a daily basis.

I'd also like to get to know how it works out for people with some Couch surfing experience so I might host some people when I'm back in Brussels.

兴趣

I love sports, football in particular but I also run a lot and did some rowing in the past. I also love scuba diving and recently got my dive master certification.

I've been quite the geek by the past but work and a busy life had the best of that. I'm still quite connected and play video games to chill out.

I'm very interested in food. I love to cook and discover new things. And I also find its an interesting way to create a positive impact to your life and society. This is one of the reasons I became vegetarian two years ago (don't worry I'm flexible when not at home).

I'm also genuinely curious about life, society, history, architecture, geography, politics, etc. I'd love to get more interested in arts also. But a day is only 24 hours long...
