I am a sociable fun eccentric, who also enjoys taking it easy and relaxing with a beer. I like meeting new people and hearing their stories.
I am happy to help out in exchange for being hosted washing up tiding getting some shopping etc.

Recently I've volunteered in Scotland planting native trees, I've also volunteered in Spain on a children's camp. I've been to a protest camp at a coal mine in Wales and stayed at Growheathrow in London, I've done crew work at festivals, and I've also been crewing on a tall ship for a week. I also work part time work as a support worker for children with special needs.

I live on a small holding with my parents on a welsh hillside. I was home schooled till i was 16, this has given me a rather alternative outlook.

My family are foster carers and we have also hosted over 20 volunteers via workaway, who come to help out on our small holding and improve their English, it has been really interesting to hear all their stories.

I've studied sociology geography and geology at A level.

Interests

I like new experiences, I'm up for giving most things a go :)

I enjoy having meaningful conversation, Eating tasty vegan food, playing board games, watching movies (thrillers and dark humour is best). Camping and sitting by a bonfire is always good. Occasionally I like to get bit drunk and make a fool out of my self, whether that on the dance floor or just hanging out with mates.

My music and movie tastes are a bit of a mix and they're not really a big part of my identity.
For movies I like District 9, Departed, Children of Men, Lock Stock and two Smoking Barrels, Team America Police, ToyStory 3. and Shaun of the Dead.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being born! Existing is amazing and incredibly unlikely. When you consider all the factors that had to be just right in order for me to be born the way I am. for a start the universe had to exist then the sun had to be just the right distance from the earth so that the oceans didn't boil into the sky or freeze into a block of ice. then obviously all my ancestors had to avoid being eaten by tigers, anyway you get the picture :).
Sometimes we forget how truly amazing existing is and i think it's a shame.
I personally intend to make the most of my existence. :)

I offer washing up, basic cooking and quality conversation. I have lots of knowledge of organic and permaculture gardening which I am happy to share or NEVER EVER mention it - you choose!
