About Me
Hi fellow travellers! Some words about me:
I like to live life right now, I'm not one of those people who say they will travel after they finished school but it never happens because work and kids get in their way ;) At the end of my life, if there is an end, I'd rather have lived a life with a lot of experiences than a lot of money.
I've always been very intrigued by this world and its problems: climate change, world hunger, inequality, animal welfare, you get the point. When I was 14 I decided I wanted to try to make the world a better place; give 'back' to the planet. That's why I chose to go to Amsterdam to study Future Planet Studies. I study the effects and causes and potential solutions of global warming, sea level rise, world hunger, all the bad things ;) Coherent to these beliefs I turned vegan to minimize my personal impact on environmental degradation and to reduce animal suffering.
Furthermore, I'm REALLY into all sports that involve boards. So skateboarding, surfing, snowboarding and whatever. I can skate all day without getting bored.
I try to be as healthy as possible, I do lots of strength training and cardio and read a lot about nutrition.
I like to think in possibilitites. One can do so much, yet we are afraid to live and do so little. I meet a lot of people who want to travel, see the world and be free for a while. However for most people these ideas just stick to words instead of actions. My advice is to just go out there, leave your 'normal' life behind for a while and feel how it is to be free. Don't let the fear of leaving for a while make you feel stuck in your daily routine. Letting go of that fear and just traveling without a plan gave me some of the most beautiful memories I have.
I want people to inspire me, I like connecting on a deep level with someone, to be able to communicate in an open way, without social standards holding you back in what you can and can't say.
Also I really like to write, to collect my thoughts and write stories or poems. Sometimes I like to be alone and write whatever comes into my mind.
Bottom line: I want to experience real freedom and I want to give back to the world because I believe that it is our responsibility to make sure the planet doesn't 'die' before we do.
Please start your request with the word: takayaka. In order to filter the real requests from the copypaste ones.
