About Me

Hey there,
and welcome on my profile. After I experienced so much generosity and hospitality during my last travel, I want to give something in exchange for the people in the world now. So if you're considering a visit to this chaotic and fascinating city of Berlin, which I fortunately can call my home, don't hesitate to write me a message. I'm happy to show you my perspective on this city, where nobody gives a shit on how you look like and where you can be, who you want to be. Accept for a yerk or something, of course.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really would like to meet new people. Getting to know their culture and their daily lifes I find most interesting. Also having a good wine or some food is nice to share some thoughts and beliefs.

And yea, free accommodation is great but also I would definitely enjoy to get to know my host/surfer better and listen to his/her story.

Music, Movies, and Books

The music in movies and videogames is an often underestimated genre I think. Even 'Transfomers' has great music, while the movie still sucks.

Don't know if it exists in english already but you should really read 'Wer bin ich und wenn ja wie viele?' by Richard D. Precht, a philosophical journey through life.

'Der Gourmet' is a really good grapic novel about a guy, who eats all by himself most of the time and enjoys it anyway. Sometimes I find myself eating 'alone' in the mensa, too.

Recently, I read a book about travelling form Ilja Trojanow which is called 'Gebrauchsanweisunge fürs Reisen' where he discribes his expierences of his various travels and how to travel in a better way than fastly going from showplace to showplace.

There is so much more, which I'm happy to share and I'm always open for recommendations ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Many things to talk about but one thing, which I can highly recommend is Skydiving. Fortunately, I have the possibilty to do it again this year. Maybe I will be able to touch the sky this time.

Teach, Learn, Share

Two of my great role models are Carl Sagan and Bob Ross. Get to know them and you will better know yourself.

A wise guy once told me:
An Apple a day, you die anyway.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Passionate discussions and if you like, I could do your math homeworks as well '...for money'.

Also doing the dishes can be quite relaxing to me sometimes ;)

Now that I'm back in Berlin, I can also offer a food tour through the city, where I can show you just a tiny bit of whats possible to eat, see and hear in Berlin.
Also, there are some good independent cinemas in town :D
