I used Couchsurfing for a year and a half while I traveled across the US out of my Kia. That car got beaten up and at the end of my journey, which lasted almost 2 years; I enlisted in the Marine Corps and got stationed in Japan. There, I discovered a passion for martial arts and embracing new cultures. I’m now back in the US after obtaining an honorable discharge. I’ve only been out 4 months or so, just working out. Not a lot of traveling anymore or meeting new people. I’m hoping this app will allow me to make friends in a way that feels comfortable for me as I am quite an elusive guy.
