I’m visiting Spain for the first time ever! I booked my flight on Thursday night and got on the plane Monday morning - meaning I have no plans and all the freedom to explore your beautiful country! My Spanish is very poor, but I know a few choice phrases and always love to learn more.

I'm from a small beach town in regional Western Australia, but have been living in Perth for the last couple of years while studying. I just graduated with a Bachelor of Automation and Robotics in December and I will continue working towards my Masters in Mechanical Engineering this year.

I’m a very easy going guy, and especially adaptable while travelling. I take pride in my extreme budget diet when on the road but I love to take that saved money and spend it on amazing travel experiences.
I’m always down for an adventure of any sort and tend to clock up insane amount of steps on any kind of trip, whether it’s hiking or exploring a city.
Back home I love spending time at the beach, but while travelling I’m forever chasing mountains, waterfalls and amazing sunsets.

I love the variety of people I get to meet while couchsurfing, I am constantly in search for wisdom from strangers and have learned many life lessons from past hosts. Intentionally or not, I typically end up in plentiful of deep conversations about life, purpose and the future (particularly in relation to technology). If you have an interest in all the ‘trendy technologies’ like robotics, AI, crypto, clean energy, and space travel then I’m your guy!

So far, throughout my travels, I have met a whole heap of interesting, generous and amazing people! Each one has left me travelling onwards feeling inspired, this is why I couchsurf!

I love everything from discovering hidden gems with my hosts, cooking a good meal, and heading down to the local watering hole to get an authentic social experience.

Listen to all sorts of music, but Triple J is always playing in my car (Australian radio station)

I really enjoy finding cool bands/songs in foreign languages, and find it great studying music because the lyrics don’t ‘jumble’ with my work in English. Currently Mexican Ranchera is a favourite.
