Overview
About Me
I'm an Australian bloke from regional Western Australia, currently studying Automation and Robotics at UWA. I have just completed a semester abroad in the USA at The University of Vermont and am doing some travel through Europe on my way home.
I’m a very easy going guy, and especially adaptable while travelling. I take pride in my extreme budget diet when on the road but I love to take that saved money and spend it on amazing travel experiences.
I’m always down for an adventure of any sort and tend to clock up insane amount of steps on any kind of trip, whether it’s hiking or exploring a city.
Back home I love spending time at the beach, but while travelling I’m forever chasing mountains, waterfalls and amazing sunsets.
I love the variety of people I get to meet while couchsurfing, I am constantly in search for wisdom from strangers and have learned many life lessons from past hosts. Intentionally or not, I typically end up in plentiful of deep conversations about life, purpose and the future (particularly in relation to technology). If you have an interest in all the ‘trendy technologies’ like robotics, AI, crypto, clean energy, and space travel then I’m your guy!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
So far on this journey I have met a whole heap of interesting, generous and amazing people! Each one has left me travelling onwards feeling inspired, this is why I couchsurf!
I love everything from discovering hidden gems with my hosts, cooking a good meal, and heading down to the local watering hole to get an authentic social experience.
I currently am not in a position to host, but with every stay I get more and more excited for the day where I will be able to help out my first ever couch surfer!

Music, Movies, and Books
Listen to all sorts of music, but Triple J is always playing in my car (Australian radio station)
I really enjoy finding cool bands/songs in foreign languages, and find it great studying music because the lyrics don’t ‘jumble’ with my work in English.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
5 day hiking trip in south-west Western Australia during high school.
A week in Mexico booked less than 7 days in advance.
Kālepa Ridge hike with an overlook of the Nā Pali Coast in Kauai.
Teach, Learn, Share
Happy to teach people English as a foreign language, regardless of their pre-existing knowledge and abilities.
Have university competency in maths, engineering and programming so I am happy to help tutor if you have kids or if you have an interest.
I’m always happy to help with housework, yard upkeep or cooking a meal.
If you drink, I’d love to bring something to share!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Cheerful Aussie banter and some good travel stories
I am learning m to cook and always love to try new dishes!
I can take and share great aerial shots of your home, local area or favourite nearby spot.
An enthusiasm for the world, adventures and discovery.
I love to spend time with my hosts and go out for adventures, especially when they’re incredibly passionate and know the local spots. But I’ve also come to understand how taxing hosting can be and am able to operate completely solo if my host does not have time to share.
